Simon Cowell has persuaded them to make their comeback with an exclusive performance of at least two songs in mid-November.
Around 20million viewers are expected to watch the band’s first major appearance together since they split in 1995.
The boys will sing a brand new song and one or more of their classics, such as Back For Good, Never Forget or Relight My Fire. They may also mentor some of the acts.
Cowell is still angling for other A-list names, including Prince, Madonna, Elton John and The Rolling Stones.
A show source said: “Landing Take That is a huge coup as it will guarantee massive audiences.
“And getting a legend like Prince, who is really difficult to tie down, will create another memorable show.”

Take That join the X Factor

Take That will help out the X Factor acts this year as mentors, Legendary boy band Take That have been convinced by Simon Cowell to appear on The X Factor and give advice to wannabe stars.
Apparently newly reunited Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Robbie Williams were wanted on BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing.
But Mr Cowell worked his magic and is now rumoured to be even more excited about his coup.
A source said: “‘X Factor’ has landed the ultimate trophy by getting Take That. We know the BBC wanted them for ‘Strictly. But we’ve beaten them to it. If the boys had gone for Strictly’ they’d have been singing while a bunch of dancers pranced around them on the show.
“At least with ‘X Factor’ they can use their musical expertise to help the acts.”
Last series, there was a Take That-themed week with Gary and Mark both acting as mentors, while Robbie sang his hit ‘Angels’ with runner-up Olly Murs in the final.

Robbie Williams wedding: Take That make him a video for his special day

His Take That pals won’t be there but Robbie Williams will still have the greatest day when he marries today – as the boys have made him a tearjerking wedding video.
The lads will surprise Robbie – newly back with the band – with an emotional five-minute tribute wishing him and wifeto-be Ayda Field all the best.
The couple, together for three years, are expected to tie the knot on the island of Santa Catalina, 20 miles off Los Angeles.
Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Owen are away on holiday with their families but met in London last week to record the video.
A source close to the band told us: “Robbie is keeping it a small affair for family and close friends. But the Take That lads thought it would be a nice gesture. Robbie is like a brother to them.”
In the video the boys tell Robbie how much they love him and how pleased they are that the boys are finally back together.
Robbie has dated a string of celebs in the past, including Nicole Appleton, Rod Stewart’s former wife Rachel Hunter, Spice Girl Geri Halliwell and actress Cameron Diaz, but the band always joked he was the eternal bachelor. A source said: “In the video message they reminisce about old times and joke that they would never have thought the day would finally come when he would get married.”

Take That take Hollywood

THE BEATLES did it. So did the ROLLING STONES.
And now TAKE THAT are planning to follow in the footsteps of British music gods by performing at the legendary Hollywood Bowl.
The manband have never made it big across the Pond but they hope the return of ROBBIE WILLIAMS – who is better known Stateside than the rest of the lads – will finally see their lifelong dream of cracking America become a reality.
I revealed last week the band were planning a string of UK gigs, including Glasto, and an extension to their 50-date tour.
But they hope it will be a performance at the landmark Los Angeles music venue that will catapult them to worldwide superstardom.
Last night a source close to the band revealed to me: “It has always been the boys’ dream to perform at the Hollywood Bowl. They would feel like their career was complete.”
And Robbie certainly seems up for a fresh start. This week, my snapper caught the joker emerging from a river covered in towels after taking a dip during filming for Take That’s new music video.

Take That ‘plan extra-special artwork’

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Take That have reportedly held secret meetings to plan “extra-special” artwork for their first album with Robbie Williams since 1995.
According to Metro, the group are taking special care to ensure that the design ideas for the comeback record are not leaked ahead of schedule.
A source said: “Now Robbie’s back, the lads are determined to make the artwork extra special
“They have been at tonnes of secret meetings deciding the new look to include Robbie and all the ideas are being guarded under lock and key.
“They are hell-bent on doing something different now the dynamic has changed again with Robbie home.”
Of the band’s exercise regime before their planned live dates, the insider added: “Gary, Mark, Jason and Howard proved with their dance moves they are in fine shape after the ‘Circus’ tour so they know they have to keep everyone impressed.
“They’re going to have to take everything up a notch again now Robbie is back. While the boys are used to the heavy workouts, it has been a couple of years for Robbie so he’s struggling to keep up.”
