An article on a radio site has mentioned Mark as a Pop/Rock Artist to Watch out for in 2013, for his new solo album that he has been reported of recording all this year!

Mark Owen: Many say that reinvention is the key for having a successful solo music career AFTER enjoying success within a band. Noteworthy examples of this phenomenon include Sting (formerly in The Police), George Michael (formerly in Wham), and Robbie Williams (formerly in Take That). That being said, some folks picked up on this “reinvention formula” and were yet unable to sustain successful solo careers. The name that comes to mind of a person that falls in this category is former Take That band-member Mark Owen. Like his former colleague, Robbie Williams, he created a sound that was markedly different from that of Take That. He did have success with songs such as “Clementine” – but he was unable to match the success of friend and colleague Robbie Williams. This caused him to fade from the public eye fairly quickly after his initial solo success. The esurgence of Take That in 2006 forced many critics to re-evaluate Mark’s solo material. Most agreed that in terms of quality, his material was probably stronger than that of Robbie Williams even if was not as commercially viable. Now in his early 40s, Mark Owen has gone back to being the “poster boy” that he was in the 90s thanks to the incredible success of Take That since 2006. He is capitalizing on this success and returned to the recording studio to record new material for a solo album. Not much is known as to what the album will sound like stylistically but the prospect of new solo material by Mark Owen is most definitely exciting.

Gary Barlow recently did an interview with the Mirror talking about projects for next year. There were a few that stood out like news on Mark Owen’s NEW Studio Album and also a NEW Take That Studio Album + A Tour for 2014!

Gary admits even if he doesn’t do X Factor, next year is looking very busy and that includes good news for fans of Take That.

I have got a lot of Take That stuff next year and then, hopefully, a tour the year after.

A new studio album feels right for us, it has always been in our minds.

“The band cycles are obvious, everyone wanted a year off this year and now everybody can’t wait to get back into the studio in February and that is what we are going to do.

“So, hopefully, an album for Christmas and a tour the following year.

“Mark’s solo album is out next year. I was talking to him about it earlier today and he’s very excited about it.

Then at the end of 2013, there’ll be a Take That album. We’re far from over.

We’re all creative, we’re singers and songwriters. There’s plenty left in us, don’t worry.

More exciting news have been coming up about Mark’s new album and even now a Uk Tour!

Take That star Mark Owen is apparently set to release a new solo album in 2013. The singer is also set to announce a solo tour in the very near future.

Rumours that Owen would be releasing a brand new solo album surfaced back in the early parts of 2012, however, not much has been heard about the potential new record since. After a recent appearance on the X Factor, news of a solo return has become a hot topic and we could be on the verge of an announcement.

While there has been no official confirmation as yet, Ben Mark – a member of Take That’s live band and studio crew – has said that he is working on the record with Owen, and that fan’s can start their ‘countdowns’ in anticipation of it.

Rumours that some tour dates are also on the way are circulating today, too – so make sure you keep your eyes peeled on Stereoboard to find out if there’s any Mark Owen solo shows coing your way soon!

More rumors have been posted today by The Sun of Mark’s Solo Material

MARK Owen’s new solo material will take some Take That fans by surprise.

He wants to relaunch his solo career as TT bandmate Gary Barlow returns to X Factor duties later this year.

A source said: “Mark’s excited about his new sound, it has a modern edge. People might not even think it’s him.

“His label are keen to get the stuff out – especially as Gary being on X Factor will shift the focus back on Take That.”

With Robbie Williams working on solo material, too, there could be a TT chart battle.

Both singers are expecting nippers so might not strike up a cash wager.

Maybe the winner could take ownership of a game of Hungry Hippos.

Still nothing has been confirmed that these rumors are true yet but they are all very exciting about Mark relaunching his solo career.

More news have come out today from The Sun about Mark writing for other younger up coming pop stars on his own publishing company, still no official confirmation about a solo album yet.

The Take That hero has been in the studio working on material for up-and-coming young pop stars.

His publishing company – who pull in the money from his songs being used in adverts, TV and film – have been getting him together with new talent.

He’s a very busy boy at the moment. As Bizarre revealed earlier in the week, he has been working on a new solo album too.

A source said: “Since Take That reformed back in 2005 Mark has taken a much bigger share of songwriting responsibilities than before.

“It is really paying off now with his publishing deal.

“He has become an in-demand co-writer and producer after playing a key role in creating songs like Shine.

“With Take That on a break it’s the ideal time for Mark to show his talents behind the scenes. He’s picked a couple of acts he thinks have potential.”

Good on him. He’s a sound bloke too, so he’ll get the best out of the people he works with.

Finally some news about Mark where there are few rumors about Mark planning to do a new Solo Album!

IT has been 15 years since Mark Owen had a No3 solo hit with Clementine.

Now the boyband hero is going it alone again after Take That pal Gary Barlow decided to return to The X Factor judging panel later this year.

The lads have agreed to do their own thing while Gary throws himself into the show, as well as organising the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert and becoming a dad for the fourth time.

Mark is being spurred on to come up with something special as Robbie Williams also plots more solo glory.

A source said: “Mark has already made serious headway. He has put together new material in the studio with top writers and is planning more sessions over the next few months.

“All the lads are behind him. Success in his own right and his own writing material have always been a massive motivation, so he’s a happy man.”

Mark blew a fortune trying to launch himself as a rock artist back in the Nineties. But his albums — Green Man, In Your Own Time and How The Mighty Fall

But since Take That reformed in 2006 Mark’s banked millions with Gary, Robbie, Howard Donald and Jason Orange.

He clearly isn’t giving up on his solo dream just yet and has nothing to lose. With all the dosh he’s got in the bank, Mark could spend the rest of his life making paper planes if he wanted.
