An article on a radio site has mentioned Mark as a Pop/Rock Artist to Watch out for in 2013, for his new solo album that he has been reported of recording all this year!

Mark Owen: Many say that reinvention is the key for having a successful solo music career AFTER enjoying success within a band. Noteworthy examples of this phenomenon include Sting (formerly in The Police), George Michael (formerly in Wham), and Robbie Williams (formerly in Take That). That being said, some folks picked up on this “reinvention formula” and were yet unable to sustain successful solo careers. The name that comes to mind of a person that falls in this category is former Take That band-member Mark Owen. Like his former colleague, Robbie Williams, he created a sound that was markedly different from that of Take That. He did have success with songs such as “Clementine” – but he was unable to match the success of friend and colleague Robbie Williams. This caused him to fade from the public eye fairly quickly after his initial solo success. The esurgence of Take That in 2006 forced many critics to re-evaluate Mark’s solo material. Most agreed that in terms of quality, his material was probably stronger than that of Robbie Williams even if was not as commercially viable. Now in his early 40s, Mark Owen has gone back to being the “poster boy” that he was in the 90s thanks to the incredible success of Take That since 2006. He is capitalizing on this success and returned to the recording studio to record new material for a solo album. Not much is known as to what the album will sound like stylistically but the prospect of new solo material by Mark Owen is most definitely exciting.

Mark has been seen at Butterfly World in Swindon according to Twitter with his Family. Someone who saw him took photos and he looks so adorable while smiling and laughing for the camera.

Mark was featured on Inside Out North West Last night where he had a short interview on the topic of singer Ren Harvieu. There were only little quick clips of him where he is looking very cute and lovely. I’ve added the clips onto youtube (see the video above), it’s about 26 seconds.

Daily Star have said that Mark Owen could be joining his fellow band mate to perform on stage with him for an ITV1 Show. Only a rumour so far so not totally sure if this is true or not.

X FACTOR judge Gary Barlow will swap the panel for the stage after landing his own ITV1 musical special.

The Take That singer, 41, will perform some of his most popular hits for the festive show.
And he will be joined on stage by a host of guests, including band mate Mark Owen, boyband JLS and his fellow X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger, 34.

The one-off show will be filmed at Manchester’s Apollo next month and will also feature behind-the-scenes footage from his current hit nationwide tour.

It is due to air on New Year’s Day.

An ITV insider said: “What better way to kick off 2013 than with Gary and his mates?

“He’ll give fans all the favourites they love so much and the guests will turn the night into something seriously special.”

There have been some new tweets on twitter by an american record mixer called Michael Brauer. He had tweeted saying that he was “mixing Mark Owen“. Also on the record mixer’s official site on the latest news board it says “Nov 3, 2012 – I’m mixing the upcoming record for Mark Owen on Mercury Records, Charlie Russell producing”. Mark attended the Music Industry Trust Awards last night for his fellow band mate and friend Gary Barlow! Loads of other celebrities were there to celebrate the achievements that Gary Barlow has produced in the Music Industry! Also Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Robbie Williams were there to celebrate. Mark and the Take That boys had a sing a long to Shine and Never Forget!
